Hello and welcome to first grade! My name is Kerry Lamendola and I have been in the teaching profession for 24 years. I graduated from UW-Whitewater in 1992 with a degree in Elementary Education and Bilingual Education. In 2011, I received my Master's Degree from Nova Southeastern University. I have been teaching first grade here at Washington for the past 20 years. It is, by far, my favorite grade to teach, even though can be very challenging at times! My favorite part of teaching first graders is watching my students blossom into readers and writers in such a short time.
When I am not teaching, I am kept busy at home with my family. My daughter Anna is 15 years old and my son Sam is 12. Both attend school in the district. I am also "mom" to several pets including a cat, two parakeets, and a hamster. In my spare time I enjoy taking walks, reading, shopping, and spending time outdoors.
If you need to contact me, my phone number is 472-8636 and my e-mail address is . I am looking forward to a wonderful, fun year of growing and learning with my first graders!
