I am originally from Milton, Wisconsin and attended UW-Whitewater for both my undergraduate and graduate degrees. I feel Whitewater is a great place to raise a family so I decided to find a teaching position here. Washington has so much positive energy and I truly feel privileged to be part of it.

I am going into my 26th year of teaching and loving it. I have taught 2nd, 4th, and 5th grades here in the Whitewater School District. I have also taught K-8th grade art in another district. Having my Masters in reading has enriched my teaching and I look forward to the challenges of increasing each student's potential in all subject areas.
I have a wonderful family that keeps me very busy. My four children were named after the color green, my husband's favorite color. My daughter, Sage, is a sophomore at Whitewater High School and my son, Slate, is an 8th grader at the Middle School. I have 2 older Sons, Hunter, who is a Junior at UW-Whitewater and Forrest, who is a Freshman at Carthage College. Our dog, a Miniature Dachshund, has also been given a green name, Olive. My husband, Tom, is very supportive and owns a business in the Whitewater Community.
